Blah, blah blah... can you hear me now?

So it's 9.30 am thereabouts and I'm sitting in my epidemiology class bored out of my skull.

I'm listening to the teacher completely flub her way through genetics and telling the class the wrong things - take how eye color is determined.  If you have blue eyes, your genotype is bb.  If you have brown eyes, you can have one of two genotypes: BB or Bb.  The B gene is dominant.  If you have one gene for brown eyes (B) and one gene for blue eyes (b) you'll have brown eyes - usually a lighter  brown or hazel.  If you have BB, then you have the dark brown eyes.

Well, she's going on about BB and bb can have blue eyed kids together, and they can't. Only bb and bb or Bb and bb can have blue eyed kids.

I'm just not feeling this class and I hope they find a new professor for it next year because this one just doesn't really do the job well.
