The bed is bought!

This is Matthias' new bed: It's a half size 'bunk bed' which comes about up to my chest.

It'll give him a place to play under it (he's currently enjoying making 'caves' with his sheets, etc) and it has built-in bedrails on top.

The only thing that we (read: Hubby) are worried about is the possibility he'll try jumping on it like he does our bed, and end up on the floor.

My view: if he DOES do that, it'll be a one-time thing. We can tell him not to jump until we're blue in the face, but until he makes a 4 point landing on the floor, there's not much that's going to convince him otherwise.

We bought the bed at ILVA.dk and they have a special running now; 10 months payment plan with 0 interest. So we picked up the mattress, mattress cover and bed for 3500 DKK, which is a little under $700 USD. The bed was on sale, too. That helped tremendously.
